something i wrote

some things are best left unsaid
some things are best left alone
but the truth is inescapable
we cant run from it
once it knocks it, we can do nothing but acknowledge it

oh but how i wish sometimes the truth isn't true
and feelings stay undeveloped, unchanged
and i'll be spared the dilemmas and headaches,
tears and confusion
